California Consumer Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice relates to all HudwayGlass search applications and websites.


Any California resident has the right to know the categories of personal information we collect about you, how we use that information, and what your rights are to opt-out of the sale of that personal information, pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018. The information contained in this notice relates to personal information that we collect from third-party sources for use on our properties. Categories of Personal Information

The personal information available through the HudwayGlass applications and website is collected from many publicly available sources, including government records, phone directories, professional licensing organizations, news reports, and social media websites. The categories of personal information that we collect from these sources may include:


  • Names: First name, middle name, last name, maiden name and aliases.
  • Location Information: Current and previous street and postal addresses.
  • Contact Information: Current and previous phone numbers and email addresses.
  • Age: Current age and date of birth.
  • Professional or Employment-Related Information: Current and previous companies or organizations worked for and positions held.
  • Education Information: Current and previous schools attended and degrees received.
  • Social Media: Information you have made public on social media websites, which may include some or all of the information above, as well as photos.

Please keep in mind that while the list above includes all of the potential types of personal information we may have collected about you, in any given instance we may have collected only a portion of such information.


Uses of Personal Information

The personal information in the categories outlined above is processed by our proprietary data platform to identify related information, then aggregate and create profiles on individuals that contain this related information. Certain personal information, such as names, ages, phone numbers, addresses, employers and schools attended, are made available to Internet search engine websites for the purpose of delivering relevant search results to individuals conducting searches on those search engine websites. Similarly, this same information is used to deliver relevant search results on the HudwayGlass search applications and websites, as well as websites operated by companies advertising our products and services.


Profiles containing all the personal information described above are sold on the HudwayGlass search applications and websites in the form of phone, address, people search and background check reports. These reports may be purchased by individual consumers like you for their personal use. The reports may also be purchased by people working for organizations to be used for their business purposes, such as attempting to collect a debt, locating a witness to a crime, or finding missing persons or owners of unclaimed funds, among other reasons. All of our customers are precluded from reselling, republishing or distributing the information contained in our reports and from using such information to determine an individual’s eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose prohibited under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.


Right to Opt-Out

If you currently reside in California, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We provide two methods by which you can exercise your right to opt-out:

    We recommend this method as a simple, automated process that ensures the quickest response to your opt-out request.
  2. Send an email to [email protected] that includes the URL of the profile found on the HudwayGlass website containing your personal information.

How to Find the URL of a Specific Address

You can find the URL to a specific address by running a search for your name at hudwayglass.com. When you find the correct page, copy the URL and paste it into this form. You can also send this URL to us via email at, [email protected].


There may be multiple addresses on HudwayGlass with similar names. Each of these addresses has a unique URL. You will need to submit an opt-out request for each address individually.
